Indie World Showcase Brings Nintendo Switch Exclusives for 2020

The Indie World Showcase presented on March 17, 2020, shared trailers from international indie developers for upcoming games for the Nintendo Switch. Many of the upcoming games are either early releases for the Nintendo Switch or exclusive releases.

Blue Fire

Blue Fire from Robi Studios and Graffiti Games offers a 3D platforming experience in a mysterious set of environments. Players can gather collectables, fight enemies, and explore the challenges of the void.

Baldo

The Italian Naps Team announced Baldo. This anime and Japanese media inspired game features a visual style similar to a Studio Ghibli movie and promises memorable characters and exciting dungeons and puzzles.

I am Dead

I Am Dead is a puzzle game exploring the strange history of the island town Shelmerston. The museum curator has passed, but there are still mysteries to uncover.

Bark Sidescrolling space shooter

Tic Toc Games showcases Bark, a 2d sidescrolling space shooter party game where players take the role of animal astronauts. It blends competitive and cooperative elements with different animals having different abilities.

Cyanide and Happiness Freakpocalypse

The creator of Cyanide and Happiness presents Cyanide and Happiness: Freakpocalypse. Featuring the well known art style of the webcomic, players can explore and survive in the post-apocalypse.

Spanish indie studio Chibig presents Summer of Mara, which is a story game about growing up and protecting nature. Launching Spring 2020, you can explore several islands, craft, and farm while you discover the world around you.

Quantum League game

Quantum League from Nimble Giant Entertainments is a unique combination of first person shooter and time travel game. During a match, players can rewind time! Clones are created of your previous actions and affect how the final battle plays out in 1v1 or 2v2 fights.

In The Good Life, players work to repay a debt in a British town. However, the town hides secrets, as the people turn into dogs and cats at night.

The Last Campfire

Hello Games, the creators of No Mans Sky, present a new game about compassion and building hope. In The Last Campfire, the main character Ember tries to find a way home through a strange and lonely world.

PixelJunk Eden2 has stages generated based on your actions. You pilot a Grimp who looks to save its fellows in this unique sensory experience.

In Faeria, build a deck and a strategic environment for an engaging take on a fantasy card game. The game supports PVP, draft formats, and online coop game modes.

Finally, Fallen Flag Studio presents Eldest Souls, a boss rush battle game with all kinds of combat customization.
