A new kind of weapon is coming to Splatoon 2 tomorrow morning, according to the Nintendo of Europe Twitter: the Splat Brella.
The Brellas are a brand new main weapon and were not featured in the first Splatoon. The handle of the Splat Brella fires shotgun-like shots that are wide spread and short range. While holding the ZR button, players can shelter themselves from attacks as the top of the umbrella opens up. Its sub weapon and special weapon are the Sprinkler and the Ink Storm, making it a messy challenge to fight against. It will cost 8,300 cash and, like all weapons, will be sold at Sheldon’s Weapons shop.

The Splat Brella was initially only available to use in the game’s story mode but will officially be joining Splatoon 2’s array of weapons on August 12th.
