Splatoon2’s final Splatfest celebrates the game’s 2 year anniversary with a 72 hour finale for the in-game events! The Final Splatfest begins on July 18th at 5 am PDT and will run until the same time July 21st. The theme is Chaos vs. Order, with Pearl representing the Chaos team and Marina heading the Order team.
Both teams have themed gear that will be released through the Nintendo Switch’s News channel before the event. The gear for Choas features a skull headpiece and a black, spiked helmet, while Team Order’s gear features a pair of chrome shades or a metallic helmet with a digital face display.
In addition, this Splatfest will feature ALL of the Shifty Station stages from previous Splatfests.
After the Splatfests are over a free update is schedule for late July. After this update, players will be able play the “Turf War (Splatfest)” game mode in private lobbies, where they can plat Turf War matches on the Shifty Stations and even choose each team’s ink colors from the pallet of Splatfest colors.
