A video released this morning on the Official Pokemon YouTube channel shares new information for the Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield games.
Weezing has a unique appearance and typing in the Galar region.
The trailer confirmed that the new games will indeed have Galarian Forms for Pokemon.
A unique appearances was revealed for Galarian Weezing, who has a gentlemanly appearance and adopts the Poison/Fairy typing. Its smokestacks can purify air, but beware of the toxic gas lingering around its body.
A new form was revealed for the Zigzagoon line, as well. The Tiny Raccoon Pokemon and its evolution, Linoone, pick up the Dark/Normal typing and has a black and white appearance with red eyes and a long tongue. In addition, the Galarian form has a third evolution – the newly revealed Obstagoon. All three are known to try to provoke fights.

Two more rival Trainers were introduced in the trailer. Bede is a rival endorsed by Chairman Rose, and his partner Pokemon is Solosis. Marnie, another rival, is a calm, calculated battler. Her partner Pokemon is a form-changing Pokemon called Morpeko that turns into another form when it’s hungry. Marnie is accompanied by her noisy fanbase in the form of the new enemy team – Team Yell. Team Yell try to stop anyone besides Marnie from completing Gym Challenges!
Team Yell follows Marnie everywhere to cheer her on.
