Theories were brewing around a cryptic page on the Sword and Shield website about an unknown Pokemon, but that Pokemon is now revealed to be Sirfetch’d!

Sirfetch’d, the Wild Duck Pokemon, is an evolution of Farfetch’d in Galar. It is a fighting type Pokemon with the ability Steadfast. It has a more noble appearance than its predecessor, and it wields a sword and shield. The sword is a sharpened leek stalk, and thick leek leaves make up its shield.
This Pokemon is known for being an honorable battler and its iconography is used throughout Galar. The Pokemon is best known for its appearance in a painting alongside Escavalier, a bug Pokemon with a knightly appearance.
Meteor Assault is the signature move of Sirfetch’d.
Meteor Assault is a new, signature move of Sirfetch’d. It functions like Hyper Beam or Giga Impact in that it is “devastatingly powerful,” but requires a turn to recover afterwards.
Sirfetch’d is a Sword version exclusive Pokemon.
