Splatoon 2’s second Splatfest event allowed players to pick from two superpowers, flight or invisibility.
Pearl and Marina both made good points when supporting their teams, but in the end, Team Flight took the cake. While Team Invisibility won the popular vote, Team Flight soared through the competition, achieving both solo and team win scores. Way to go, Team Flight!
The vote, solo wins, and team win scores for this weekend’s Splatfest.
I’m honestly surprised Team Invisibility won the popular score. The majority of the teams I fought while on Team Flight were also on Team Flight, making it seem like Flight was more popular. But this particular Splatfest combined the results of both America and Europe’s scores. That’s why there was a notable delay in the event’s results.
This is the second official Splatfest event, not including the “Splatfest World Premiere,” a demo allowing players to participate in a testfire Splatfest before the game’s release. Splatfests are monthly events in Splatoon 2 where players can fight for one of two teams and win super sea snails, a currency that you can upgrade your gear with. To use your super sea snails, talk to Murch in The Square. He’ll hook you up.
