A demo for Square Enix and Acquire’s RPG Octopath Traveler arrived on the Nintendo Switch eShop today, a little less than a month before the game’s official release.
Octopath Traveler is a gorgeous, turn-based RPG with striking pixel art in a 3D-world (often referred to as the “2D-HD”). The new demo allows players to start the game’s story with all eight characters, which follows a different story depending on the character you choose. Unfortunately, the demo has a three-hour time limit, but all progress and data can be carried over to the full game upon purchase.
Octopath Traveler releases on July 13th. You can find more information on the game and its demo at the official Nintendo website.
