Before Labo’s release, Patrick and Brian of Polygon issued a cardboard challenge for themselves. To help them get into the Labo spirit before its release in 2018, they tasked themselves with inventing a cardboard creation to enhance the game play of Mario Odyssey. They were only allowed to use cardboard that could be found around the office.
