To end September 13th’s Nintendo Direct, a short teaser announced a new Animal Crossing game on the Nintendo Switch.
In the teaser, a prominent character from the series, Tom Nook, talked about he ought to have a home prepared for everyone after they come back from “camping and smashing”.
No specific details about the gameplay were revealed in the trailer, but it is safe to assume that Tom Nook will appear in the game, as he has in every title of the Animal Crossing series so far.
Animal Crossing for the Switch is scheduled to release in 2019.
