Considering the recent Pokémon Direct, there wasn’t too much Pokémon: Sword and Shield news revealed in the E3 2019 presentation. However, we did get a closer look at one of the game’s gym leaders.
Nessa is the second gym leader revealed for the upcoming Switch titles Pokémon: Sword and Pokémon: Shield, following the grass-type leader Milo. As the water-type gym leader, she’s seen showing off the water and rock-type Pokémon, Drednaw. E3 attendees will get the chance to battle Nessa in the Pokémon: Sword and Shield demo booth.
Aside from the newest character reveal, Pokémon Sword and Shield will also support the Poké Ball Plus accessory. While you won’t be able to use it as a controller, “something good might happen” to players that carry their Pokémon around in a Poké Ball Plus.
