Pokémon’s most iconic legendary Pokémon, Mewtwo, will be returning to Pokémon GO raids. This time, the Pokémon will be donning a new look.
Mewtwo’s new armored look is based on Mewtwo’s appearance in Mewtwo Strikes Back: Evolution, which is set to release in Japan on July 12th, 2019. Niantic and The Pokémon Company released this short teaser video to show players what Mewtwo has in store for them.
Players will be available to fight this armored (and possibly more powerful) version of Mewtwo in Pokémon GO starting July 10th. No additional information has been released regarding armored Mewtwo’s appearance in Pokémon GO.
