What better way to celebrate Pokémon Day than with a new Pokémon?
Meet Zarude, the Rogue Monkey Pokémon and the latest Pokémon confirmed for Sword and Shield. It is a dark/grass-type with the ability Leaf Guard. According to the official Pokémon website, it can grow strong and flexible vines from the back of its neck, wrists, and soles of its feet at will. These vines also have healing properties, so wrapping them around a wound will help promote the healing process.
How to capture Zarude is currently unknown, but the website states that Zarude will treat “anyone that isn’t part of its pack with immediate hostility, attacking right away.”
