All of the main fighter from Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, the popular fighting game for the Nintendo Switch, each have their own amiibo already, so all that leaves are the DLC fighters. In today’s Super Smash Bros. Ultimate presentation, the series producer Masahiro Sakurai provided us with early looks at amiibo of Joker from Persona 5 and the Hero from Dragon Quest XI. The two new amiibo figures are due to release this fall.
Sakurai has come bearing gifts.
So far, the DLC characters that have yet to receive amiibo are Terry from Fatal Fury, Banjo and Kazooie from Banjo-Kazooie, and Byleth from Fire Emblem: Three Houses, as well as Min Min from ARMS and the five unannounced fighters. Sakurai implied that all the DLC fighters will receive an amiibo at different points in the future.
