Cadence of Hyrule DLC Announced

During today’s brief Nintendo Direct Mini: Partner Showcase, Nintendo revealed new downloadable content for Cadence of Hyrule: Crypt of the Necrodancer Featuring The Legend of Zelda which was developed by Brace Yourself Games and released in June of last year. The DLC is available in three different packs, which can all be purchased through a season pass.

DLC Pack 1 is the Character Pack. This will include a number of characters, each with their own play style. Impa is armed with a Naginata.  When playing Aria, taking a hit or missing a beat results in an immediate game over. Other characters include Shadow Link, Shadow Zelda, and Frederick.

DLC Pack 2 is a Melody Pack. 39 new songs will be added from composers FamilyJules, A_Rival, and Chipzel. Players can change the background music at any time to listen to your favorites.

Skull Kid is not included with the character pack, but he will get his own DLC in the future.

DLC Pack 3 is Symphony of the Mask is additional story content. In this DLC, players will control Skull Kid and explore a new map with new songs. Switching between different masks will allows Skull Kid to utilize many abilities.

DLC Pack 1 is available now, whether individually or as part of the Season Pass. DLC Packs 2 and 3 will release by the end of October. Those who purchase the Season Pass will get additional costumes for Link and Zelda.  Additionally, a physical version of Cadence of Hyrule including all the DLC content is set to release on October 23.
