SNES Games Are Being Added to the Nintendo Switch Tomorrow

Titles from the Nintendo Entertainment System are already available to play if you’re a Nintendo Switch Online Member. After the latest Nintendo Direct, we can finally play SNES games as well. 20 Super Nintendo Entertainment System games are coming to the Nintendo Switch tomorrow, September 5th.

Here is the list of games that will be available to play starting September 5th:

  • Brawl Brothers
  • Breath of Fire
  • Demon’s Crest
  • F-Zero
  • Joe & Mac 2: Lost in the Tropics
  • Kirby’s Dream Course
  • Kirby’s Dream Land 3
  • Pilotwings
  • Star Fox
  • Stunt Race FX
  • Super E.D.F. Earth Defense Force
  • Super Gouls ‘n’ Ghosts
  • Super Mario Kart
  • Super Mario World
  • Super Mario World 2: Yoshi’s Island
  • Super Metroid
  • Super Puyo Puyo 2
  • Super Soccer
  • Super Tennis
  • The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past

Additionally, players will soon be able to purchase a SNES controller that’s compatible with the Nintendo Switch system (similar to the NES controller released in the past).  Online members will be able to purchase the SNES controller for $29.99.
